Gary Andresen plays traditional scandinavian folk music on acoustic guitar, keeping the family tradition going by playing tunes learned from his father Robert Andresen, who was a noted folk music musician and historian of upper midwest folk music.
Gary and his father performed at many festivals in the area, including the MN State Fair, Wisconsin Historical Society, and the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC.
